You fall into bed exhausted. You try and get comfy on your pillow when you feel something lumpy. You reach under your pillow only to find...a dirty diaper.
Oh, the joys of motherhood!

my nieghbor lent me her book Down Came the Rain or something like that, by Brooke Shields(?) her journey through post-partum depression. don't let it go, thinking it will get better on its own. find someone who will get you the help you so desperately need. there is light at the end but it can be a long dark tunnel. praying for you, and for your adjustment to Hope (what a wonderful birth story, by the way).
Flutemom, I guess I should have made known that I've walked this path before and so I know what PPD feels like. I know my "limitations" so to speak and I've already taken some measures that will help it not get out of control. Your heartfelt concerns are truly appreciated. Thank-you so much for your prayers! :)
