This picture is of the Davis family. I know of them through an online group of reformed women I belong to. A few days ago we learned that Eric (the husband and father) had collapsed and then proceeded to suffer no less than 4 heart attacks at the hospital. We have been praying for this family since.
We learned just hours ago that Eric has gone on to be with the Lord. While we rejoice that Eric is now whole, we mourn for those he left behind. A godly wife no longer has her husband and best friend and 6 beautiful children (the oldest of which is only 19) no longer have their father. As we are assured that God can and will sustain them through their grief, I ask that you pray for them.
Please pray for God's perfect peace for them. That He will wrap them so tightly in His arms that they will feel His continual presence. Pray that in this time of great loss that God can be glorified and others will see Him through their testimony.
Psa 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Sadness.
Praying.
One of my greatest fears.
I'm praying for them, but peace will be a long time coming, I'm sure.
