Resolutions and such...

In the past few years I have not made New Year's resolutions. Well, okay I have. I made a resolution not to make a resolution. I am actually torn on the issue. I know I'm late in posting this, but give me a break, I've been down with bronchitis for WAY too long. I agree with making goals, but resolutions just sound so...so...so....resolute.

So, I broke my own rule. I made a resolution. I resolved that I was going to be more organized. Now, if you've looked over my blog very much you know this is an issue with me. As I have struggled with this issue for years, I felt it was high time to take the proverbial bull by the horns and really become aggressive with this problematic trait. So what happens? I end up sick and essentially on my back for the first two weeks of the New Year. This is what happens when I make resolutions. Alas, it is my curse I'm afraid. And so, the quest for organization proceeds with reckless abandon...uh...that's rather oxy-moronic, huh?

On another note...the MadMonk has opened a can of Blogworms. Since my doggone funny post about him a few weeks back he has suffered at the hands of my blog readers and more importantly our dear brothers and sisters at church. This blogger found it so funny he posted on it and linked to both our blogs. Needless to say, his pride is suffering. So, how does he respond? He retaliates against me by opening a can of Blogworms with a post about me shooting a b.b gun at the squirrels in our back yard. He's grasping at straws. Nothing and I mean n-o-t-h-i-n-g that I do could possibly be as funny as what he did!

The war for blog fodder has begun at CastleMonk. Even the mini-Monks are running through the house yelling "Blog that!". It's rather frightening. So I would imagine that the next few months around here are going to be interesting. At least until The Mad Monk feels avenged. Bark! Bark!, honey.

Michelle,
Check your links to other sites in this post. They're not working correctly. Just wanted you to know.

Thanks for the plug!
